Cup tie fans will be segregated

Airbus v Bangor City SPECTATORS will be segregated when Airbus UK Broughton host Bangor City in Saturday's Welsh Cup quarter-final tie at The Airfield.
City fans have been allocated the new main stand opposite the pavilion where a refreshment bar and toilet facilities will be provided and the hosts are employing an external security firm to steward the match along with police.
Whilst the Wingmakers' social club will be open during the day, the clubs are warning that any unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated and that any fans misbehaving inside the club will lead to the bar being closed.
Any supporter breaching the expected standard of behaviour, such as encroaching on the field of play, may be the subject of a football banning order from all football grounds.
City Chairman Dilwyn Jones is asking City fans to enjoy themselves safely and responsibly at next weekend's match.
"The fans have been like an extra man on the pitch for us this season, and I know it will be no different at The Airfield next Saturday," he said.
"I'm asking all City supporters to do their bit in making the match memorable for all the right reasons by complying with safety notices at the ground, and the instructions of stewards and other security staff".
The measures come in the wake of problems at last season's Welsh Cup final, when City fans invaded Newtown's Latham Park pitch, and trouble which flared during a recent league encounter against Rhyl at Farrar Road.
City have already been fined twice, but there is no history of trouble involving Saturday's Welsh Cup opponents.
