| Experience will count for City - Powell |
| Saturday 28 February 2009 |
BANGOR City manager Nev Powell believes experience will carry his side into the Welsh Cup semi-finals."We will have to battle, but we believe our experience of the big match occasion will stand us in good stead," he says. But Airbus counterpart Craig Harrison is confident his players will be highly motivated as they seek a history-making appearance in the last four. "It's going to be a big crowd and I'd imagine Bangor would bring more fans than we'll have," Harrison told the Flintshire Chronicle. "The crowd could be against us but they've still got to come to our place. They'll have to be at their best to beat us and we'll have to be at our best. "If the players need motivating for this then they shouldn't be playing football. Whatever standard you play, these are the type of games that you play football for." City will be missing broken-arm victim and leading scorer Chris Sharp and suspended defender Dave Swanick, while the Wingmakers have Mark Allen suspended and fellow defender Gareth Sudlow cup-tied. |
