v AberystwythGEOFF Kellaway led the way with a hat-trick as Aberystwyth comfortably negotiated a potential banana skin against Welsh National Wrexham Area outfit FC Cefn.
The Seasiders got off to a flying start at the Muga when Lewis Codling's cross found Anuerin Thomas who scored after just 43 seconds.
And, 12 minutes later, Michael Howard's flighjted free-kick was met by a powerful James McCarten header.
Ricky Evans saw a long range effort rebound off a post but Kellaway then netted his first with a cross cum shot that eluded everyone before beating keeper Gareth Jones.
Cefn reduced the deficit before half time when former Druids' frontman Darren Williams forced a good save from Steve Cann, but was able to slot the rebound into an empty net.
An acrobatic overhead volley from Williams went narrowly over the bar, while a long range strike by another former Welsh Premier stalwart, Paul Mazzarella, was well saved by the Aber keeper.
After Codling's early second half shot was saved by Jones, Craig Williams bundled the ball home just before the hour mark to extend the visitors' lead.
Kellaway found space to fire a superb shot into the top left hand corner and then completed his hat-trick seven minutes from from the penalty spot after he had been brought down in the box.
