BUCKLEY Town's indifferent start to the Cymru Alliance campaign continued on Tuesday night as they went down 1-0 at home to Denbigh Town. A 40th-minute goal from Mike Sharples sealed the win which sees Denbigh climb to fifth place in the table. Newly-promoted Berriew claimed their first away success, 4-1 at Mold Alexandra. Former Welshpool duo Christian Webster and Will Thomas were on target for the visitors, with Mike Zinaman and a Mark Jones penalty securing the three points, after Darren Pritchard had levelled for Alex from the penalty spot just before half-time. |
