RHYDYMWYN dumped Caernarfon Town out of the Welsh Cup thanks to Marc Gunter's 52nd-minute goal, while there was also a shock for Cymru Alliance high-flyers Llangefni Town, who lost 2-1 at home to Llandudno Junction.Jake Cattery's last-minute goal did the trick for the visitors after Paul Cassidy had earlier levelled Marcus Orlik's opener for Cefni. Flint Town United were in seventh heaven with goals from Mike Thelwell, Sean Beck (2), Andy Irvine, John Davies (2) and Alan Dawson in a 7-1 hammering of Barmouth & Dyffryn United, who had accounted for Buckley Town in the first round. Gresford slipped out 3-2 at home to Llanrug United in another giant-killing, Rhys Roberts notching a brace for the visitors. Llandudno eased past Berriew 3-0 in extra-time at Maesdu Park with a brace from Ben Dews, while a second-minute goal from Matthew Holmes handed Llangollen Town the spoils at home to Glan Conwy.
