| Saturday 14 November 2009 |
CAERNARFON Town have moved quickly to appoint a new manager after parting company with Derek Roberts and Mel Jones. The Canaries have appointed former Buckley Town boss Simon Sedgwick, who has also held managerial roles at Rhyl Reserves, Mynydd Isa and Holywell Town. The Oval outfit dismissed Roberts and Jones after they managed just one win in 10 games following the resignation of David Rowe and the club, relegated from the Welsh Premier at the end of last season, are currently fighting for Cymru Alliance survival, four places from the foot of the table. |
