FLINT Town United fought back from a goal down against 10-man Bethesda Athletic to return to the top of the Cymru Alliance. Despite their one-man deficit, Athletic took the lead 10 minutes from time through Gareth Davies, but Paul Williams snatched an equaliser for the Silkmen in the 87th-minute. Caernarfon Town lost again, 2-0 at Denbigh Town, where a goal in each half from Darren Cassidy and Kevin Evans sealed the home side's win. Llanfairpwll took the lead through Richard Owen at home to Holyhead Hotspur, who levelled through Curt Williams. All the other teams were involved in cup action. |
