AS expected, the Cymru Alliance have deducted three points from Caernarfon Town for failing to fulfil their recent fixture at Llanfairpwll. The Canaries informed the league they would be unable to play the game, scheduled for late February, after being suspended from all football activities by the FAW for non-payment of fines. Rule 9(g) states: "Any club failing to keep its engagement or causing a game to be abandoned without giving a reason deemed to be satisfactory by the Management Committee shall have three points deducted and shall be fined a sum not exceeding £200.00 maximum." The league also fined Caernarfon £125. |
