PROLIFIC marksman Sean Beck grabbed all four goals as Flint Town United maintained a hot pace at the top of the Cymru Alliance.Beck (pictured) struck twice in each half as the Silkmen won 4-2 at Berriew, for whom Martyn Ziamann and Will Thomas from the penalty spot scored consolation goals. Second-placed Llangefni Town, who have two games in hand on the leaders, won 3-1 at Penrhyncoch with a hat-trick from Darren Thomas. Third-placed Llandudno hit back from a goal down to win 4-1 at Mold Alexandra with Lee Thomas scoring a brace. Two second-half Phil Molyneux goals gave Buckley Town the points at Lex X1 as the Globe Way outfit retained fourth place. A Liam Jones free-kick gave Denbigh Town the lead at home to Llangollen, but two goals from Simon Smith handed the visitors the points. Gresford Athletic recorded their first away win of the season as they won 5-2 at beleaguered Caernarfon Town, Danny Purdie twice on target. |
