| Management team quits at Llangefni |
| Tuesday 18 May 2010 |
MANAGER Lee Dixon has quit in the wake of Llangefni Town's failure to win the domestic licence and promotion to the Welsh Premier. Also departing is coach Ian Hughes, who has recently taken up a new FAW coaching role based in mid-Wales and is finding the travelling difficult. "Lee is of course absolutely distraught at being denied deserved promotion after his outstanding inaugural managerial season and now feels that he has taken the club as far as he could and wishes to take a break from the game to concentrate on his main job," says Hughes. "I would like to thank the players, who deserve all the credit, they have applied themselves fantastically this year and deserved to win the league. "It has been a great pleasure to work with every player that put on the Llangefni Town shirt this season, not forgetting players that left us to join other clubs; everyone has had a major part to play."
