 BALA Town midfielder Warren Duckett has left Maes Tegid to join Elements Cefn Druids.The 26-year-old was part of the Lakesiders' squad that won promotion to the Welsh Premier League a year ago, and made 16 (+8) appearances in the top flight last season, scoring once. Duckett was previously also in the Cymru Alliance with Lex XI and Druids' boss Huw Griffiths is delighted with the signing of one of his summer targets. "Warren is one player I really wanted. He is a big, big signing for us," says Griffiths, who is expected to add two more players with Welsh Premier experience over the next few days. "He has played for a top ten Welsh Premier League side and is a local lad. "Part of the reason why he signed for us is that he is excited by playing at the new stadium, but he is vital for what we want for next season."
