AARON Burns, who spent the second half of last season on-loan at Gap Connah's Quay, is one of the latest signings for Chester FC boss Neil Young.Centre forward Burns joins from Northwich Victoria after scoring three goals from 16 Welsh Premier appearances during his time in Deeside. The 22-year-old began his career at Manchester United and also had spells at FC United of Manchester and both Droylsden, before being lent to the Nomads. Former Rhyl assistant manager Young has now assembled a squad of 17 players which includes another four with a Welsh Premier background. Stuart Graves, Mark Connolly, Carl Ruffer and Greg Stones were all at Belle Vue, as was Young's first-team coach Gary Powell. After winning an appeal to the FA last week, phoenix club Chester will start life in the Evo-Stik League one North, from which Young guided Colwym Bay to promotion last season and the fifth step in the English non-league pyramid. |
