RHYL 'keeper Jack Cudworth has signed a one-year deal with League Two outfit Macclesfield Town. The highly-rated 19-year-old, who played 33 games for Welshpool and Rhyl last season, has also attracted the attention of Morecambe during his one season in the Welsh Premier. Before arriving in the domestic league, Cudworth was spotted by Preston North End while undergoing a trial at Manchester United and played for the Deepdale outfit's youth and reserve teams before being released in the summer of 2009. Rhyl travel to Macclesfield this Saturday and Cudworth could well play against his Belle Vue team mates. |
