RHOS Aelwyd manager Steve Walters has added the vastly-experienced Wayne Phillips to his squad. A former Wrexham player who was capped by Wales at Under-21 and 'B' level, Phillips was joint manager and a player at Cefn Druids until the closing weeks of last season.. Phillips, who also had a brief spell with Stockport County in 1997/8, joined Caernarfon in 2003/4 and was appointed caretaker manager later in the season, taking over permanently for 2004/5. He stepped down as manager in September 2006 and, a week later, signed for the Ancients, making a career total of 150 Welsh Premier appearances. |
