ATTENDANCES in the Huws Gray Alliance have been boosted already this season by the arrival of six clubs relegated from the Welsh Premier. Friday night's north Wales coast derby between Rhyl and Llandudno attracted 499 to Belle Vue, while 309 watched the Flintshire derby between Gap Connah's Quay and Flint Town United at the Deeside Stadium. Overall, the average crowd is 185 in the first campaign that the league has collected official attendance statistics. Not surprisingly, Rhyl lead the way with an average of 367, while Porthmadog have attracted an average gate of 221 to their first two home games. |
