Rhos fight back to dump Nomads

Rhos Aelwyd v Connah's QuayJOINT leaders of the Huws Gray Alliance, Gap Connah's Quay and Rhyl, both fell at the first hurdle in the League Cup.
Despite falling behind to a first-minute Jamie Petrie goal, Rhos Aelwyd hit back to beat the Nomads, Aaron Edwards levelling for the hosts midway through the first-half.
Goals from Mike Burke and former Cefn Druid Josh Russell put Rhos on the way to a 3-2 success, Ben Alston scoring a late consolation for Nomads.
The Lilywhites went down 3-0 at Penrhyncoch, Josh Shaw scoring twice for the hosts.
Graham Evans scored his first goal since returning to Caersws in a 4-0 win over holders Llandudno, while Terry Pugh's brace helped Buckley Town to a 4-1 home win over Welshpool.
Marcus Orlik also scored twice as Porthmadog produced their best result of the season in a 2-1 away win at Flint Town United.
Kevin Garland scored a hat-trick as Ruthin featured in another upset, a 4-3 win at Llangefni.
Guilsfield beat Rhayader Town 2-1 with a Stuart Robins goal on the hour, while Cefn Druids were 5-1 winners at home to Rhydymwyn on Friday night, ex-Bala midfielder Warren Duckett scoring two of their goals.
