GAP Connah's Quay march on at the top of the Huws Gray Alliance, maintaining their 100 percent start to the season with a 6-2 hammering of Caersws at the Deeside Stadium.Gary O'Toole notched a brace, with Andy Alston, Mike Hayes, Tom Baker and Jamie Petrie also getting their names on the scoresheet. Cefn Druids stay second after a 4-1 away win at Welshpool despite trailing 1-0 at half-time to a Luke Hicks penalty. Andy Swarbrick claimed a hat-trick after the break but the game ended on a sour note for the visitors with the late dismissal of Warren Duckett. Flint Town United went third with a 2-0 win at Ruthin Town, Danny Sullivan and Phil Molyneux claiming the goals. Rhyl dropped to fifth after losing to a Mark Egan penalty following a Lee Jones foul at Penrhyncoch, who also knocked the Lilywhites out of the League Cup at Cae Baker recently. Rhos Aelwyd shared a 2-2 draw at home to Llandudno for whom new signing Mike Lundstrom scored the equaliser, while Porthmadog were 3-0 winners at Rhydymwyn. Llangefni triumphed 4-1 at Buckley Town's Globe Way courtesy of a brace from Darren Gowans plus goals from Darren Thomas and Ywain Gwynedd. Joint bottom club Rhayader claimed their first win of the campaign, coming back from a goal down to win 2-1 at home to Guilsfield with Rhys Roberts claiming the winner.
