 CEFN Druids went top of the Huws Gray Alliance with a Tuesday night home win over Ruthin Town at The Rock.Andrew Swarbrick reflected the Ancients' domination by opening the scoring on 56 minutes, firing into an empty after the ball had broken loose on the edge of the box following a tangle between visiting keeper Ben Jones and defender Miles Todd. And, three minutes later, the hosts scored again when Warren Duckett sent an 18-yard header from a corner over the keeper's grasp. Caersws cemented third place with a 2-0 away win at Buckley Town's Globe Way, where Geraint Mitchell scored on the hour and Gareth Sudlow added the second five minutes from time.
