 A MIKE Hayes hat-trick put Gap Connah's Quay on the road to a 7-1 home hammering of Rhos Aelwyd on Friday night.Hayes struck in the third, 12th and 24th minutes with Dean Thurston (pictured) also on target. Waynne Phillips pulled one back from the penalty spot for the Wrexham visitors soon after half-time, but Thurston went on to score three more goals in the final five minutes as Nomads took over at the top of the table from Cefn Druids. |
