LLANDUDNO cruised to a five-nil win over Porthmadog in atrocious conditions at Maesdu Park to cement fourth place in the Alliance.Danny Hughes made the breakthrough on the half-hour with further goals coming from Neil Coverley just before the break, ex-Port frontman Iwan Williams, Ryan Williams (pictured) and Zac Evans. Welshpool and Flint drew 4-4 in a thriller at Maesydre, where the Silkmen forged a three-goal lead after 24 minutes thanks to Mike Banks, Jack Abraham and Danny Sullivan. Chris Melia scored for the hosts, but Banks restored the visitors' three-goal advantage before Lee McElmeel, Wes Kilgannon and Nathan Mapletoft goals snatched a point for Chris Herbert's side. Llangefni beatn Caersws 4-2 at Talwrn Road, with Marc Evans notching a brace for the Anglesey hosts and Richard Evans scoring twice for the Bluebirds. Rhydymwyn beat Rhayader 2-1, Chris Guy and a Tom McElmeel penalty securing the points for the Mold outfit, while Ruthin and Penrhyncock shared six goals at the Memorial Fields, Kevin Garland scoring two for the home side. |
