FORMER Cefn Druids' joint manager Waynne Phillips scored a late equaliser as Rhos Aelwyd held Flint Town United to a 2-2 draw at Cae-y-Castell.Lewis Denman and Paul Williams scored within four first half minutes for the Silkmen, but Matt Holmes gave Rhos a way back into the contest on 78 minutes, and Phillips grabbed the equaliser four minutes from time. Flint remain in fifth place, one point ahead of their sixth-placed opponents. Phillips (pictured) has been touted as a possible managerial replacement at the Wrexham outfit for Steve Walters, who has indicated he will be stepping down at the end of the season. |
