RHYL maintained their three point lead at the top of the Huws Gray Alliance, but were made to work hard for a 2-1 away win at lowly Rhayader's Wierglodd.Skipper Chris Williams struck twice for the Lilywhites in the first half, but a second-half effort from Nick Evans ensured a tense final 20 minutes. Gary O'Toole fired yet another hat-trick as GAP Connah's Quay stayed hot on the heels of the leaders. Sam McNutt added a fourth as the Nomads breezed past Rhos Aelwyd at Ponciau Banks. Cefn Druids got back to winning ways thanks to a 66th-minute Mark Griffiths goal in a 1-0 win at Llandudno, who are virtually out of contention after this defeat. Flint stay fifth after edging a five goal affair with Penrhyncoch at Cae-y-Castell where Danny Sullivan's 88th-minute goal proved to be the winner. The Ceridigion visitors led 2-0 through Stuart Fraser and Josh Shaw, but Stef Halewood and Simon Thelwell got the Silkmen back in contention. Caersws thumped Porthmadog 5-2 at the Recreation Ground with Neil Mitchell grabbing a brace, while Buckley heaped more misery on bottom club Welshpool, winning 2-0 away at Maesydre with goals from Wes Brereton and Neil Wynne. Ruthin won the battle against fellow strugglers Rhydymwyn 3-0, Adam Jenkins scoring twice, while Guilsfield triumphed 3-2 away at Llangefni with Ross Frame, Mark Davies and Gary Jones the scorers.
