Mutton's brace boosts Bala's lead

Tommy MuttonTOMMY Mutton (pictured) continued his rich vein of scoring form since joining Bala Town from Connah's Quay with a brace in Tuesday night's 3-0 home win over Mold Alexandra.
Gethin Lloyd opened the Lakesiders' account, after Mutton's initial effort had hit a post, in a win that took the hosts four points clear the top of the Cymru Alliance.
Flint Town United edged a nine-goal thriller at home to Buckley Town to go into sixth place, Sean Beck notching a brace for the Cae-y-Castell outfit with Craig Hogg netting the winner deep into injury time.
In the Welsh League, Goytre United put Saturday's defeat at Barry Town behind them to cement third place with a 3-0 home win over Dinas Powys.
Jacob Daley scored in the first minute for the hosts, with Dale Price and Danny Thomas adding the others, while the visitors had Samir Misbah red-carded.
