GAP Connah's Quay have parted company with assistant manager Ken Price (pictured)."Price, player-manager Mark McGregor and the club's committee have parted amicably and feel that the move is in the best interests of the club's progression," says a statement from the Nomads. "Academy Director Jay Catton will now join the first team coaching staff alongside McGregor, Neill Ebrill and Mal Latter, whilst retaining his position in charge of the club's thriving youth setup." Also departing the Deeside Stadium is forward Dean Thurston in search of regular football in the English pyramid. The former Skelmersdale United and Prescot Cables hitman signed for the Nomads last summer after topping the Vodkat North West Counties League scoring charts in two successive seasons with breakaway club AFC Liverpool. |
