BALA Town maintained their seven-point lead at the top of the Cymru Alliance with a 2-0 Tuesday night home win over Lex XI.Gary Penlington gave the hosts a 54th-minute lead with Tommy Mutton adding the second on 72 minutes. But second-placed Llangefni Town, who have played one more game than the leaders, maintained their challenge with a 3-2 away win Flint Town's Cae-y-Castell. The visitors controlled the game until the 76th-minute, opening up a three-goal lead through Kevin Roberts, Darren Thomas and Jon Peris Jones.
