Druids strengthen with several new signings

Charlie ProctorCEFN Druids have completed the loan signing of Josh Evans from Newtown and expect to complete a deal for the loan of striker Charlie Proctor from The New Saints.
Midfielder Evans, 18, joined Newtown in August 2010 after being released by Shrewsbury Town where he was on the scholarship scheme, and is the son of former Newtown, Llanfair and Montgomery winger Phil Evans. Loaned to Welshpool in January 2011 he returned to Latham Park for season 2011/12 and has made two (+8) Welsh Premier appearances.
Proctor is a product of the TNS Scholarship Scheme who has appeared just once as a sub in the top flight.
Also arriving at The Rock is striker Tony Cann from Llandudno and former Tranmere Rovers youth Paul Speed, while the Ancients are close to agreeing terms for the return of frontman Jon Rush, son of Liverpool and Wales legend Ian, from Rhos Aelwyd.
