FOR the second week running there were goals galore in the Huws Gray Alliance, champions Gap Connah's Quay leading the way with a nine-goal mauling of newly-promoted Penycae. Prolific frontman Gary O'Toole and Rob Jones both grabbed a brace, but Penycae had two players sent-off. Six clubs still have a 100 percent record with Rhyl hitting six without reply against Flint Town United, Russ Courtney and James Gambino helping themselves to two apiece. Conwy United also hit six against Llanrhaeadr while Porthmadog ran out 4-1 winners at home to Rhos Aelwyd. Buckley edged a seven-goal affair at Caersws despite the first-half dismissal of Anthony Williams, with Mike Burke's brace sealing the win, and there were six goals at The Rock as Cefn Druids beat Guilsfield 4-2, Keiron Duckett with two for the Ancients. Ruthin Town gained their fourth point from two away games with a 2-0 success at Llangefni Town. Shaun Williams netting a rare goal. Josh Shaw scored the only goal of the game as Penrhyncoch beat Llandudno 1-0. |
