Druids beat rivals Conwy to go top

Druids v ConwyCEFN Druids went top of the Huws Gray Alliance as they preserved their 100 percent record at the expense of previous joint leaders Conwy United.
Mark Harris gave the Ancients a ninth-minute lead from a quickly-taken free-kick, but the visitors missed a chance to level when Mike Lundstrum's penalty was superbly saved by Chris Mullock.
Warren Duckett and Mark Griffiths soon extended the lead after the break, with Duckett adding another before two late consolations from Lundstrum after the Ancients had Ashley Wilson sent-off.
Second-placed Rhyl hit eight past hapless Caersws, who had veteran Geraint Lewis red-carded at the Recreation Ground, Ryan Williams and Paul Mooney both scoring twice in an 8-1 rout.
Gap Connah's Quay got back to winning ways on Friday night to go third, with player-boss Mark McGregor scoring the only goal of the game at Llandudno.
High flying Porthmadog were held to a 3-3 draw at lowly Llanrhaeadr, Ben White levelling for the home side in the 89th-minute.
Ruthin lost their unbeaten tag as Arron Edwards scored for Rhos Aelwyd in a 1-0 defeat at Ponciau Banks, while Flint were 2-1 home winners over Guilsfield thanks to goals from Phil Lloyd and Paul Williams.
Llangefni got off the mark with a 4-2 home win over Penrhyncoch who finished with nine-men following the dismissal of both Josh Hartrick and Danny Jones, debutant Luke O'Mahony scoring a brace.
But Penycae remain pointless after a 1-0 home defeat to Buckley, for whom Matthew Hughes scored the 10th-minute winner.
