DEAN Seager's 42nd-minute goal ended Rhyl's unbeaten record and handed Llandudno a welcome three points on Friday night in front of a crowd of 432 at Maesdu Park. The Lilywhites' James Gambino had an early shot well saved and Shaun Dowling's goal-bound effort was cleared off the line. But the hosts took the lead three minutes before the break when Seager finished well from a Danny Hughes through ball past advancing keeper Stefan Holden. Rhyl dominated much of the second half with Paul Mooney narrowly missing the target and Ryan Williams skimming the crossbar with a fere-kick. But home keeper Callum Hawthorne was in fine form to deny Jason Oswell, Gambino, Russell Courtney and Scott Beckett. {sidebar id =1 align=left} |
