Sunday 18 September 2011
Stuart FraserCEFN Druids suffered a setback when they slipped to a shock 1-0 defeat at Penrhyncoch, the only goal of the game coming midway through the second-half from Stuart Fraser.
It was the Ancients' first defeat of the season and leaves them trailing leaders Rhyl and gap Connah's Quay, who both recorded emphatic wins on Friday.
Porthmadog maintained their unbeaten record with a 3-2 victory at lowly Guilsfield, despite going two goals down to a Will Thomas brace.
Rhys Roberts got Port's winner 20 minutes from time after Darren Thomas and Marcus Orlik had levelled.
A penalty from Mike Burke after 75 minutes was enough to ensure a home win for Buckley Town over Rhos Aelwyd.
Phil Williams scored twice as Flint Town overcame Llandudno 3-1, while pointless Penycae went down 3-2 at Caersws, for whom Mark Griffiths collected a brace.
Conwy United's early form has deserted them as they lost 3-1 at Ruthin, for whom Jack Jones, Adam Jenkins and Sion Davies were the scorers.
