RHYL returned to joint leadership of the Huws Gray Alliance with a 6-2 win at Rhos Aelwyd. In a victory that wasn't as easy as the final scoreline suggests, Chris Melia put the Lilywhites out of sight with a late hat-trick after Rom Rowlands had scored a brace. Flint Town United continued their excellent run of form with a 6-1 success away at Llangefni's Talwrn Road, Jon Rush scoring twice. Porthmadog took the points in a hard fought game at home to Ruthin Town, Ryan Davies scoring the decisive goal. Buckley Town went a goal down after four minutes at Llanrhyaeadr but bounced back to win 4-2, while Penrhyncoch's Mark Gornall scored a late equaiser at Conwy United for a share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw. Llandudno's woes continued as they lost at home to Caersws by the odd goal in three, Graham Evans with a penalty and TNS loanee Scott Quigley scoring for the Bluebirds. Penycae still await their first point of the season as Guilsfield recorded their first victory, Will Thomas netting twice for the Guils in a 3-1 win. |
