CAERSWS have been deducted three points for fielding an ineligible player. The Bluebirds were caught up in a transfer controversy when striker Scott Quigley made his debut on-loan from The New Saints last month in a 2-1 defeat at Flint. Along with fellow TNS loanee Sean Ellis, he was withdrawn from the squad to face Guilsfield a week later after the Bluebirds were told the players' registrations were incomplete. Club secretary Gareth Lloyd claimed that when the transfer forms were faced to the Huws Gray Alliance, the league secretary was on holiday and Quigley was not, therefore, registered in time to play.
