Bickerstaff steps down at Llandudno
Monday 03 October 2011
Allan BickerstaffALLAN Bickerstaff has stepped down as manager of Llandudno "due to his ever increasing work commitments".
"The board understand that, since taking his role with the club, his work load has increased with the FAW," according to a statement from Maesdu Park.
"After discussions between both parties it was mutually agreed that he could no longer continue. A spokesperson from the club said that the board wishes Allan all the best with his new job at the FAW."
Bickerstaff was appointed manager this summer, but results have been disappointing and the 11th-placed outfit have garnered just six points from their first eight games.
A former player with Rhyl, Bickerstaff was appointed senior coach at Belle Vue in June 2008 following the departure of John Hulse and led the Lillies to the Welsh Premier title.
He has also managed Prestatyn Town as well as undertaking assistant roles at both Airbus UK Broughton and Porthmadog.
