Graham returns as Llandudno boss
Friday 07 October 2011
DEINIOL Graham has been appointed manager of Llandudno following the departure of Allan Bickerstaff due to increasing work commitments with the FAW.
It is the second time that the former Manchester United professional has managed the Maesdu Park outfit and won the North Wales Coast Cup.
"Deiniol is delighted to be back at the club he holds dear and is looking forward to the challenge ahead," says club director Neil Sheldon. "The break from football the last few years whilst he has concentrated his time on his young new family has made him hungrier than ever.
"As a board we are relishing the thought of a new era at Llandudno Town FC and know that Deiniol is the man to bring us success."
Graham will be working alongside Mark Hewitt and will officially take control of first team affairs from Monday with Hewitt in charge for this Saturday’s game away to bottom of the table Penycae.
Cannock-born Graham played in the youth and reserve sides at Old Trafford before making his debut in a League Cup tie against Hull City.
He later moved on to Barnsley, with loan spells at Preston and Carlisle, Stockport County, Scunthorpe United, Halifax Town and Dagenham & Redbridge.
He was also capped by Wales at Under-21 level.
