RHYL opened-up a two point lead at the top of the Huws Gray Alliance as rivals Connah's Quay dropped points down the coast at Conwy United.The Lilywhites eased past lowly Llanrhaeadr 4-0 at Belle Vue, taking the lead through Scott Beckett's second-minute goal and adding more through a Russ Courtney brace and Jason Oswell. Nomads led 2-0 inside the first 11 minutes at Morfa Conwy thanks to player-boss Mark McGregor and leading marksman Gary O'Toole, who was later red-carded. But the Musselmen hit back nine minutes from time through Mike Lundstrum and Mark Orme snatched the equaliser in stoppage time. Porthmadog go third with Gareth Jones Evans snatching a brace in a 3-1 win at Penrhyncoch, while Buckley are up to fourth after sentencing Cefn Druids to a second consecutive defeat. Three goals in six minutes from Tim Bigland, Neil Wynne and Anthony Williams sank the Ancients at Globe Way. Flint Town United are fifth following a 1-1 home draw with Rhos Aelwyd, while Guilsfield sank Ruthin 3-0 at the Recreation Ground, the scorers including former Welsh Premier frontman Danny Barton and league player of the month Will Thomas. The day's big hitters were Caersws, who hit eight past hapless Llangefni, Scott Williams leading the way with a hat-trick in an 8-2 win. The Anglesey outfit sink to the bottom on goal difference after Penycae celebrated their first win since promotion, 1-0 at home to Llandudno, the crucial goal coming from an Ian Andrews spot kick.
