RHYL opened-up a slender lead at the top of the Huws Gray Alliance with a 2-0 home win over Ruthin Town in which Ton Rowlands and Jason Oswell scored the goals.Rivals Gap Connah's Quay went down to a shock 3-1 defeat at Guilsfield with Will Thomas scoring twice for the village outfit, one from the spot. Nomads are overtaken in second place by Buckley Town, who beat Penrhyncoch 2-1 at Globe Way, new signing Andy Moran scoring the winner in the 87th-minute on his debut. Porthmadog are still hot on the heels of the leaders after a 1-0 win at Flint Town United, Marcus Orlik scoring the only goal three minutes from time. Caersws maintained their fine run of form with Neil MItchell completing a brace in the 79th-minute to sink Conwy United 3-2 at the Recreation Ground, while Cefn Druids also stayed in contention winning the local derby 2-0 at Penycae through goals from Max Peate and a late Matty Hurdman effort. Ross Rule scored the only goal as Llandudno won 1-0 at home to Llanrhaeadr, while new Llangefni Town boss Adie Jones got his first win, 3-0 at home to Rhos Aelwyd, who take over bottom spot from their Anglesey opponents.
