CAERSWS are the in-form team in the Huws Gray Alliance.Traditionally slow-starters, the Bluebirds are flying high after notching their 12th straight win as they came from behind to beat title contenders Porthmadog 2-1 at The Traeth. Craig Roberts thundered a 20-yarder past keeper Dave Jones to give the hosts the lead just after half-time, but Neil Mitchell levelled with a well-taken shot, and Scott Williams grabbing the winner four minutes from time from a Graham Evans free-kick. Rhyl hold a slender one-point lead at the top after drawing 1-1 at Penrhyncoch, where Jason Oswell's early goal for the Lillies was cancelled-out by Mark Egan on the hour. Gap Connah's Quay hit six past title rivals Buckley Town at the Deeside Stadium on Friday night, Jamie Petrie and Danny Forde both grabbing a brace, with Mike Burke netting a consolation for the Stags. Both sides finished the game with 10-men after Nomads' Craig Jones and the Bucks' Gareth Edwards were dismissed. Flint Town United cemented sixth place with a 5-0 away drubbing of Ruthin Town, Tom McGill scoring a late hat-trick to heap misery on the hosts. Cefn Druids suffered another setback as they went 3-1 at home to improving Llandudno, for whom Paul Roberts, Danny Hughes and Ross Rule were the scorers. Rhos Aelwyd stay anchored to the foot of the table following a 2-0 home reverse at the hands of Guilsfield, Gareth Jones and Ed Baldwin the scorers, while lowly Llangefni continue to move up the table under new manager Adie Jones with a 3-1 in at Llanrhaeadr, where recent signing Kevin Garland was among the scorers. Conwy United and Penycae drew 1-1 at the Morfa, Leigh Craven giving the Musselmen the lead, only for Phil Fitzpatrick to equalise.
