Nomads return to the top on Friday night

Stuart FraserWITH leaders Rhyl engaged in Coast Cup action, Gap Connah's Quay returned to the top of the table with a 4-0 Friday night home win over Llandudno.
Mark Robinson opened the Nomads' account after just nine minutes and further goals from Gary O'Toole, Jamie Petrie and Rhys Healey completed the win.
But Porthmadog suffered a set-back to their promotion hopes when they slumped to a 3-2 home defeat at the hands of Penrhyncoch on Saturday.
Stuart Fraser put the visitors in front after 12 minutes and, despite a response from Craig Roberts, further goals from Mark Gornall and a Marg Egan penalty sealed the win despite Marcus Orlik reducing the arrears on the hour.
Former Rhyl marksman Andy Moran was again on the mark for fourth-placed Buckley Town in a 3-1 home win over Penycae. A Paul Connolly own goal a minute later added to the visitors' woes and Matt Hughes added the third on 76 minutes.
Cefn Druids stay fifth after a 1-0 away win at Conwy United, Robbie James grabbing the winner 15 minutes from time.
Flint Town United saw off the challenge of Llangefni Town at Cae-y-Castell, Stuart Carroll (penalty), Phil Lloyd and Jon Rush netting in a 3-0 win.
