 BALA Town maintained their push for promotion to the Welsh Premier with a 2-0 win at Penrhyncoch on Wednesday night.The Lakesiders restored a seven-point lead at the top of the Cymru Alliance with second-half goals from Owain Roberts and former NEWI Cefn Druids and Welshpool midfielder Dave Cunnah (pictured). Lex XI paid the price for their rumpus at Flint in November which saw five players suspended for the visit to Alyn Park, where they lost 5-1 to Mold Alexandra. Stuart Hayes with a brace, Mike Roberts, Darren Pritchard and Terry Pughe got the home side's goals. |
