MYNYDD Isa boosted Bala Town's bid for promotion to the Welsh Premier by beating second-placed Llangefni Town 1-0.Stephen Johnson's spectacular goal did the trick, and Bala took full advantage by beating Llanfairpwll 2-0 and move 10 points clear at the top of the Cymru Alliance. Former Connah's Quay Nomad Tommy Mutton opened the Maes Tegid outfit's account and sub Richard Williams Cooke added the second. Third-placed Holyhead Hotspur have games in hand on the leading duo and won 2-1 at Ruthin Town, who had Ben Collins red-carded.
