CYMRU Alliance duo Flint Town United and Lex XI have both been deducted three points for causing a game to be abandoned. The charges arose from a Cymru Alliance game on November 11 which was called-off by referee Martin Trigg after 53 minutes following a fracas which had broken-out between around 20 players and supporters. Both clubs, who have already been fined £700 for failing to control their players and supporters by the FA of Wales, with a further £350 suspended until December 31, have the right to appeal. Lex were also found guilty of fielding an ineligible player in their League Cup quarter-final against Holyhead Hotspur, who will now take the Lawmen's place in the semi-final against Guilsfield. |
