 WITH leaders Bala Town out of action, chasers Llangefni Town and Holyhead both hit the goal trail to close the gap at the top of the Cymru Alliance.Hotspur's Mark Evans led the way with five as his side destroyed Penrhyncoch 8-0 at the New Oval, Jon Newell, Dean Garmey and Mark Williams netting the others. Llangefni hammered Gresford 7-0 away at Clappers Lane, with seven different players getting their names on the scoresheet - Alliance player of the month Mel McGuinness, Mike Edwards, Darren Thomas, Steve Halliwell, Kevin Roberts, Sion Parry and Ywain Gwynedd all had cause for celebration.
