 WITH Cymru Alliance leaders Bala Town in League Cup action, Llangefni Town seized the chance to close the gap at the top to four points with a 2-0 win at Anglesey rivals Llanfairpwll.Geraint Mitchell and Warren Gibbs scored the second-half goals, but Bala are on course for a league and cup double. They have three games in hand on Cefni and reached the final of the League Cup with a 2-1 win over Ruthin Town at Buckley's Globe Way. Warren Duckett and Marc Griffiths put the Lakesiders two-up within the first half hour, Liam Jones scoring an 86th-minute consolation for Adie Jones's men.
