Beck is Silkmen's hat-trick hero

Flint v Holyhead PROLIFIC marksman Sean Beck grabbed another hat-trick as rampant Flint Town United hammered Holyhead Hotspur 5-1 at Cae-y-Castell.
All Beck's goals came in the second half as the Silkmen remained in second place in the Cymru Alliance behind leaders Llangefni Town, who secured a 2-1 Friday night win at home to Buckley Town courtesy of a Chris Williams 71st-minute goal.
Third-placed Denbigh thrashed Lex XI 5-0 with Tommy Mutton among the scorers while, on a day of goals, Llangollen edged a seven-goal thriller against Caernarfon Town at Tower Fields.
John Rowley had given the Canaries a first-minute lead, but Matt Holmes completed a brace three minutes from time to secure the points for one of the league's newly-promoted clubs.
The other new boys clashed at Bethesda with Richie Owen scoring a hat-trick as Athletic beat Berriew 6-1.
Goytre United reclaimed top spot in Welsh League Division One with a 2-1 victory over Cambrian & Clydach. But reigning champions Aberaman, who beat Taffs Well 3-2 on Friday night, have a game in hand.
Newly-promoted Garden Village jumped into third place thanks to a 1-0 win over Caldicot Town, but high-flyers Afan Lido were shocked at Caerleon, going down 3-0 with Dan Cueto netting twice for the hosts.
