CAMBRIAN & Clydach stopped Welsh League leaders Aberaman Athletic in their tracks with a comprehensive 6-2 victory at Aberaman Park.Dane Williams and Jason Bertorelli both scored twice as the hosts slumped to their first points loss of the campaign. It opened the way for Goytre United to take over at the top of the Glenhafod Park outfit duly obliged, easing past Caerleon 6-0 with a couple apiece for Jacob Daly and ex-Port Talbot, Neath and Newtown frontman Richard French (pictured). Bryntirion are third after edging past newly-promoted West End 3-2, while Caldicot Town are in fourth place after sharing the spoils in an eight-goal thriller at home to ambitious Bridgend Town. |
