WELSH League leaders Goytre United snatched a point at Bridgend with a goal in the second minute of stoppage time from Dale Griffiths. Mike Waters, who joined the Exiles from Aberystwyth Town this month, had given the hosts the lead. And the point was enough to keep Goyts on top as Aberaman missed the chance to go top after being held to a goal-less draw at home by Afan Lido. Third-placed Cambrian & Clydach enjoyed a 3-1 Friday night win at home to Taffs Well, while Ton Pentre went down 3-2 at Caldicot Town for whom Gareth Cullimore netted twice. Sixth-placed Barry Town strolled to a 3-0 win over Bettws courtesy of a brace from Sam Small and one from Morgan Harry. |
