LEIGHTON James has resigned as manager of Aberaman Athletic AFC "for personal reasons".The former Welsh international had been in charge of the Welsh League champions since just before Christmas and a statement from the club says: "All at Aberaman would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Leighton for guiding the club from a difficult period prior to Christmas when the club lost a host of players and has built an almost new team." Lee Williams will be in charge for an interim period prior to the club advertising the position in due course. |
