WITH the whole of the Cymru Alliance programme wiped-out, just two Welsh League Division One games beat the freeze. But former Welsh Premier champions Barry Town took full advantage by hammering visitors Cambrian and Clydach 5-2, to go second behing leaders Bettws. Former Cwmbran and Llanelli frontman Sam Small bagged a hat-trick with the goal of the afternoon coming from Zak Misbah. In the only other game, Cwmbran won a "six-pointer" in the relegation battle by beating visiting Newport YMCA 4-1. Marlow Kabi scored a hat-trick as the Crows recorded only their second win of the campaign to leapfrog their opponents and Caerleon. |
