AFAN Lido maintained their late surge for the Welsh League title by beating Caldicot Town 2-1.Goals from Robbie Walters (pictured) and Nathan White gave the Aberavon outfit a 2-0 interval lead and they held on despite a goal midway through the second-half for the Gwent visitors, who drop to fourth place. Goytre United stayed top after a 3-1 win at second from bottom Ely Rangers, while Cambrian & Clydach are in third after a 1-1 home draw with West End. Fixtures will continue until the end of May because of the large number of postponements during the winter. |
