| Aberaman woe for nine-man Lido |

NINE-man Afan Lido lost their 100% Welsh League record on Friday night to a late goal at Aberaman Athletic. The Aberavan outfit fell behind for the first time in four matches through Liam Beattie after 19 minutes but, despite having defender Carl Evans red-carded on 65 minutes, Lido fought back to equalise through Nathan White. Former Neath defender Jack Jenkins joined Evans in the dressing room in the final minute for foul and abusive language and the hosts took full advantage with the winning goal coming from Sam Small three minutes into stoppage time. Lido are in second place on goal difference behind Cambrian & Clydach, while Aberaman - who were thumped 7-0 by the leaders in their last game - are lifted into fourth place by their victory. |
